Position Summary
The Director of C3 Digital provides visionary leadership for Christ Culture Community's digital ministry by developing, overseeing, and integrating technology, digital engagement, and creative media to advance the church's mission and expand its digital reach.
Serving as the primary leader of Christ Culture Community's digital ministries, the Director recruits, equips, coaches, supervises, and supports the ministry leaders responsible for E-Ministry, Content Creation, and Audio/Visual & Information Technology (A/V & IT). Together, these ministries create meaningful digital experiences that support worship, discipleship, communication, and community engagement both inside and outside the church.
Working closely with the Lead Pastor, staff, and ministry leaders, the Director of C3 Digital develops systems, leaders, and digital strategies that strengthen ministry effectiveness, support organizational excellence, and extend the church's influence beyond its physical walls.
Success in this role is measured not by personally producing digital content or managing technology, but by developing leaders and building systems that expand Christ Culture Community's digital reach and strengthen its ministry impact.
Key Responsibilities
1. Leadership Development & Oversight
Recruit, equip, coach, supervise, and evaluate the ministry leaders responsible for E-Ministry, Content Creation, and Audio/Visual & Information Technology.
Provide ongoing leadership development, encouragement, accountability, and strategic support to ministry leaders.
Meet regularly with ministry leaders to establish priorities, evaluate ministry effectiveness, solve challenges, and strengthen leadership capacity.
Ensure ministry leaders have the training, resources, and support necessary to lead with excellence.
Foster collaboration among all C3 Digital ministries to create seamless digital experiences and unified ministry execution.
2. Digital Ministry Strategy
Develop and communicate a comprehensive digital ministry strategy that aligns with the mission, vision, and values of Christ Culture Community.
Identify innovative opportunities to leverage technology to strengthen discipleship, worship, communication, and community engagement.
Ensure digital initiatives support both in-person and online ministry experiences.
Establish annual ministry goals, strategic initiatives, and key performance indicators for all C3 Digital ministries.
Prepare and steward ministry budgets, technology investments, and digital resources.
3. Oversight of E-Ministry
Through the E-Ministry Leader, the Director will:
Ensure meaningful engagement with online worshippers, guests, and digital participants.
Develop systems that connect online attendees to the life of the church through discipleship, prayer, pastoral care, and next-step opportunities.
Oversee digital discipleship initiatives that encourage spiritual growth throughout the week.
Ensure the online ministry reflects the hospitality, culture, and values of Christ Culture Community.
Develop pathways that move online engagement toward active participation in the life and mission of the church.
4. Oversight of Content Creation
Through the Content Creation Leader, the Director will:
Provide oversight for the creation of compelling digital content that communicates the mission, vision, and ministry of Christ Culture Community.
Ensure all content reflects theological accuracy, creative excellence, and consistent branding.
Support the development of sermon resources, discipleship materials, ministry promotions, digital campaigns, and storytelling initiatives.
Develop content strategies that inspire people to follow Christ, engage with the church, and share the Gospel.
5. Oversight of Audio/Visual & Information Technology
Through the Audio/Visual & Information Technology Leader, the Director will:
Provide strategic oversight for the church's audio, video, lighting, livestream production, presentation systems, and technology infrastructure.
Ensure worship technology enhances the congregational experience by creating distraction-free, technically excellent environments for worship and ministry.
Oversee the implementation, maintenance, security, and continual improvement of church technology, software platforms, digital systems, and technical infrastructure.
Recruit, equip, develop, and support volunteers serving in production and technical support ministries.
Evaluate and recommend technology solutions that strengthen worship experiences, ministry effectiveness, digital engagement, and operational efficiency.
Ensure all technical systems operate reliably and effectively to support both in-person and digital ministry experiences.
6. Volunteer & Leadership Development
Develop sustainable systems for recruiting, onboarding, training, mentoring, and deploying ministry leaders and volunteers.
Create leadership development pathways that prepare future leaders within C3 Digital.
Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, creativity, excellence, and servant leadership.
Recognize and celebrate ministry leaders and volunteers for their faithful service.
